| Very attractive dark amber hue is complemented by wispy head, and small, tight clusters of bubbles. Sweet, elusive aroma is barely discernible. Robust and very full-bodied. High alcolhol content is immediately discernible but doesn't get in the way of the earthy, inviting flavor. A richly satisfying ale all the way through. Samuel Adams Scotch has bite and is not for the faint of heart. This strong, savory ale is one of the more daring offerings to date from the Boston Brewing Company. | |||||||||||
