With the first taste of Dick Danger Ale the mouth is immediately awash in darkly roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. A bit of biting alcohol is noticeable, as is very mild bitterness. Though very close to a porter in taste, this beer's mouthfeel is a bit thin by comparison. A middle of the road brew that should appeal to both light and dark tastes; a good compromise. Overall a pleasing ale, almost, but maybe not quite, as exciting as its name.
