A light, playful aroma, full of wheat, honey and fruit. The strong crisp tasting wheat is pleasant, and works fairly well in combination with this medium-bodied ale's intense hoppiness. The finish is, unfortunately, somewhat chalky, with a hint of tartness around the edges. The honey sweetness is hardly noticeable; perhaps this brew would have benefited it were used more assertively. While quite flavorful, the taste of Taildragger is not quite balanced; this is an opinionated beer with an attitude.
