Lindemann's Peche

The aroma of this lambic is undeniably and wonderfully a rich peach, with the faint sharpness of alcohol behind it. Along with its cloudy bronze-orange appearance, a nice head forms initially but settles quickly. Lindemann's Peche enters the mouth flamboyantly, tart and extremely flavorful, alive with tingling effervescence. The fruity sweetness is unrestrained, and perhaps a bit a unbalanced, but it's hard not to be taken in by the beguiling pleasantness of this peach. Clearly not an everyday drinking beer, this lambic should be reserved as an occasional treat. There is no doubt that Lindemann's makes wonderfully vivid lambics, perhaps the very best, and their Peche certainly bears this out.
