It's possible to tell just by looking at all the sediment floating in this that something is not quite right with this beer. The aroma is pungeant, a mix of malt, hops, and the distinct odor of overripe fruit. The lightly buttery and dry taste of this pilsener is ruined by the overwhelming sour and soapy aftertaste. Makes one think 'imported' is a dirty word. The taste of Eger Urbier is one that conjures thoughts of Communist Czechoslovakia behind the iron curtain; thoroughly unpalatable to our distinctly capitalist tastebuds.
