| A thin head crowns Harp's pale, unremarkable golden glow. Highly carbonated with small tightly-packed bubbles. Pleasant buttery, sweet smelling mix with a strong hint of barley. Crisp and dry, this lager sits well in the mouth initially. Slightly bitter aftertaste disappoints, as does the weak consistency at the bottom of the glass. This distinctive, classic Irish lager, while viscerally satisfying, simply fails to be inspiring, and falls short when measured against gourmet brews found here in America and abroad. | |||||||||||
