Brooklyn Lager
A robust and absolutely pleasing lager. The honey-bronze hue is deeper than most lagers, and definitely handsome, as is the freshly poured head which settles slowly. The aroma of this lager is rich with sharp hops and a buttery, mellow malty scent. Brooklyn Lager's exhilarating taste gets high marks for its bracing hoppiness and satisfying dryness, which are enhanced by a modicum of sweetness and subtle fruit flavors. Billed as "the pre-prohibition lager," this was the beer that launched the Brooklyn Brewery, setting a standard of excellence matched by few other domestic breweries, and one they continue to uphold.
