Nice head retention on this cloudy amber-brown colored brew; the aroma is spicy, with pleasant notes of honey and flowers, complementing the light malts and ample hops. The taste of this lager is strongly suggestive of toasted barley with a dab of honey. The strong malt is offset by mild hops, which goes a long way towards balancing this beer's flavor. Robust carbonation lends Mountain Marzen an airy mouthfeel. The aftertaste is both fruity and a bit sour.
