Small, dimly lit, very intimate, but bubbling with excitement, Mondo Cane lives up to its motto, scrawled on the colorfully painted walls, "Where every night is New Years Eve." This is the place to come out and see cool jazz and smoky blues performed live, if you don't mind a two-drink minimum or paying the cover charge. Overall, a great little nightspot with uniquely bohemian attitude and style.
